ANGER=low dose celexa=constant state of withdrawl?

Posted by porkpiehat on February 26, 2014, at 5:57:16

I've been on Celexa for more years than I can count, and each time I try to come off, I go through this nasty period of anger which eventually goes away.

Thanks to Lamictal, Klonopin, and the occasional guest appearance by various AAP's, I've been able to stay around 15-20 mgs of celexa (which lowers my SE profile and hypomanic tendencies), but I wrestle with more irritability and now headaches then I have either off it altogether or at a higher dose.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Even though I'm not actually coming off the celexa, just trying to maintain at 15-20 mgs?

Why is it ot a option to go to a higher dose? The lower seems to have you stuck at the initial dosing stage

At higher doses Celexa tends to make me racy and a little manic. Numbs me out emotionally, kills my sex drive, makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning.

You need to go up in dose on celexa.
