I find them undesirable for anxiety in situations where substantial concentration or dexterity are required. The impairment they produce may be noticeable, which can worsen anxiety in these situations by producing a feeling of not being in control. On the other hand, they can be very helpful in other circumstances.

Something I have noticed in my lyme disease journeys is that paradoxical reactions are common. Outside of the lyme world, your reaction is rare.

Yeah, Xanax, Ativan and Clonazepam make me feel unpleasantly stimulated.
