It used to be a regular message of mine. Where did everyone go. But now it is reality. Seems even facebook isn't active. I'm thinking the internet media is going out of vogue so to speak. So hi if anyone is reading or even cares. Phillipa

There is an echo echo echo.
It is quiet. I am feeling OK or not able to share what is going on. That's my story and I am sticking with it.

I am here everyday, still looking for the magic pill. Just about given up though.

I've been looking for that pill for a good fifteen years. I thought I'd found it in baclofen. I was taking it for muscle spasms in my back, and it had the unexpected side effect of wiping out my depression and anxiety. But then it started to cause horrible insomnia after one week, so I had to give it up. But at least I now know that it's possible for my brain to feel "normal." I just need to find some other way of getting back there.

I'm dreading the Holidays. My sister is coming for a long visit. She reacts to my depression in one of two ways -- she either tries to cheer me up (which fills me with even more despair) or she becomes exasperated with me. The last time I saw her, she snapped, "Why don't you just go to the Mayo Clinic and let them figure it out." It could be that she's not looking forward to seeing me any more than I'm looking forward to seeing her.

Hi Phillipa, I'm reading. Haven't posted, don't really have anything particular to say or discuss. I started with a new pdoc but its too soon to say if my new course of treatment is working.
Have you thought about trying twitter? I never tried facebook, but I use twitter and enjoy it. You might like it and find there is a more consistent stream of updates depending on who you follow. herpills

My Lexapro/Klonopin combo started many years ago is still working, so I really don't have much to say.
I still monitor this board, in case I need clues to whether the combo is "pooping out" and to keep abreast of any news about my combo.

Is this the Fred that plays musical instruments? Well it looks like most are still searching. But you know the responses here kind of remind me of the old babble? Phillipa

Hi Phillipa!
I'm still around; I haven't posted anything in a while but I've been looking at the boards. It seems to be quiet everywhere lately--even here in NYC!

I think it has :) There are always people who come back here. It's almost like home.
This is the end of the thread.
