I took zoloft for years with no problem but went off it and back on and had a bad reaction. Twitching all over especially my mouth, muscles weakness, Parkinson's like symptoms. Has anyone experinced taking a medication once and having a bad raction and then tried it again and it was fine?

I took brand zyprexa for 10 years, worked great. Then I tried abilify, which didn't work out. Went back on brand zyprexa and it didn't work infact I felt worse than when on the abilify. But after several weeks the zyprexa started to work again like before. Did the same thing again years later, but for longer and it took very long time for the zyprexa to work again. Now its working again. But I also switched to generic the generic didn't seem to work for long time after a year I went up in dose on generic and felt better again. I find the same thing with all drugs, when switching to a generic or from different manufacturers of a generic. There is a long adjustment time. But usually works out in the end and the meds work like they should. I've noticed this with every med I take when switching to a different manufacturer. Some are better some are worse, so I pick the best one.
If the pill looks different then the drug is different.
