I have just realized, for the past 20 years, all i have been doing is putting substances in my mouth to try and feel good.
These include.
Nicotine
Cannabis
Caffiene
Various herbs and amino acids
Junk Food
Alcohol
Anti depressantsNot sure if im a addict or a depressive, whatever it is, I see no way forward as all the above have only worked temporarily.
And my point is ? I dunno just saying.
Thanks for listening.

>rculater,
You wrote,[...and my point is?...].
I would have to speculate as to what your point is. But you say that you see no way forward as all the above including antidepressants, only worked temporarily and for 20 years you have been putting substances into your mouth to try to feel good.
What is troubling you to make you try to feel good, is what I have been revealed as to how that troubling, you could be freed from. But I am prevented from posting how you could be delivered out from the bondage of the troubling due to prohibitions posted to me here by Mr. Hsiung. You see, there has been revealed to me what one can put in their heart, not in their mouth, that could have them freed from the troubling. This would come from a Jewish perspective as revealed to me. And as I see not only you, but many others here trying to be released from the bondage of depression and addiction be deprived of the knowledge that has been revealed to me, that causes me to feel that you and others could go on and on trying the next drug and could die during the time from one drug to the other before you find the "right" drug or combination of drugs. And I'm so sorry, my friend.

Nicotine? Not good but I know many people who have weaned off using ecigs.
Herbs and amino acids? An effort to feel better.
Antidepressants? How many have you tried and which ones worked? What's your diagnosis?
Junk food? I can relate.
Cannabis? My best friend and worst enemy. I know people that use it occasionally with no problem. If you do it constantly it can make you depressed, lethargic and stupid.
Alcohol? Social drinker or throwing up at 2 a.m. from way too much tequila? Most of the population struggles with those issues. Maybe a good therapist could help you sort it out.

Yes I agree with Phil coming from a spiritual perspective. But I do feel that we need to just do the best we can. One day one thing seems to work for me and the next day doesn't. So I feel the mind body connection has something to do with it. Phillipa

I've been doing this with antidepressants since I was 10 and I'm now 31. I must be crazy because I keep on chasing happiness.
