I think I lost 28 pounds in just over 60 days. I look better, I move better, I can put my pants on with room to spare. Get in the car w/o huffing and puffing.
To me, it's one of the best, fastest acting antidepressants ever.
If someone can tell me why to be obese and type II then be put on it, why not go there in the first place? I'm not a dr but this seems like a no brainer. I could be wrong.

You found metformin to act like an antidepressant? How much we're you taking, or were you taking it with another med?

I've recently had the unpleasant experience of having weight gain with all of the atypical antipsychotics, even in low does.

Interesting. Well my dr rather ditches the whole project of helping me get back on track than to allow me to take only 300mg Seroquel, because i SUFFER with 600. Nothing but suffering. She still thinks it helps.
Brainwash or, say "less than altruistic motives"?

Maybe both. IDK

Too bad. Im headed for another hospital tomorrow.

I really come to believe that some people especially those that shouldnt be, are deliberately evil.

Either overwhelming stupidity or deliberate malicousness.
I cant make sense of it any other way. Both? I dont understand and maybe i dont even want to understand this kind of hostility. I have enough to do with myself.

Im pretty dumbfounded by this person.

And this person is a prototype for ALOT of ignorant people. It dawns me that society as a whole rests on the pillars of people like that.

Only in that weight loss is a good antidepressant. I take 7 meds including antipsychotic.
I saw my gp today and he was happy with results. Wrote a script for nausea. I'm on the road. When the nurse weighed me she said Wow you've lost some weight. feels good

That's great! I'm so happy for you. It can be so hard to lose weight on these meds. You find a med that works for you and it causes weight gain. So it's good to hear that metformin is working for you!
