yes....the body In low energy mode, aso when axiety is too much, I think the breathing is slowed down, les oxygen.

interesting answer ...not sure if that is my problem as 3 months ago had a stint put in ---now take 3 meds for heart...one has a side effect of shortness of breath...can walk 4 miles a day..always on the go....started viibryd 3 weeks before the procedure...also take lamictal and tegretol along with Ativan as need be.....stress test and lungs fine...not sure what to think

i'm not exact in the awnser...don't want to make a false awnsers, but the way i kinda think is the oxygen gets lowered, and causes more rapid breathing....hyper/hypoventilation....
there's some meds maybe for that, but im not knowedgble about it....
i know that there is oxygen mask but thats kinda silly...
but what happens when you get short of breath?
