Hi, all. In addition to longstanding issues with depression, or possibly coincident with them if my theories of psychosomatic-based physical pain are accurate, I have almost equally longstanding chronic sinus pain. While I've been on SSRIs, on and off for the past 14 years, I've tried to avoid NSAIDs because of the increased risk of upper GI bleeding. I've been on Zoloft for about 16 months at a dose of 200 mg and had wellbutrin xl added last august, initially at 150 mg daily and then at 300 mg daily, but I've recently discontinued the zoloft after recognizing that serotonergic agents, at least of the ssri class, tend to exacerbate rather than alleviate my depression. My last dose was Tuesday around 11 pm and I should be past 7 elimination half-lives if the mean elimination half-life is truly 26 hours but with the synergistic effect of taking bupropion and sertraline simultaneously is the elimination half-life of sertraline altered? Would it be safe to try ibuprofen again for my sinus issues instead of accetaminophen or should I wait longer to ensure that the sertraline has cleared? Thanks
This is the end of the thread.
