I've been considering mixing rhodiola rosea and nardil to see if it could be beneficial.
Has anyone tried it before?
Rhodiola Rosea is a very weak inhibitor of MAO.
It is also said to stimulate the release/increase in serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. Anyone got any better knowledge of this?

Anyone got any better knowledge of this?I would be concerned any time a MAOI is combined with a substance that increases the concentration of intrasynaptic serotonin. I really don't know the extent to which RR does this.

Some studies have shown serotonin can be increased by 30%, my main concern is if this combination is safe.
Getting fatal serotonin syndrome is quite hard to get, combinations such as ssri + mdma or maoi + ssri/mdma could procure this. But i doubt rhodiola + maoi could cause this.

But i doubt rhodiola + maoi could cause this.I would be very wary of combining an Maoi with Rhodiola Rosacea
Rhodiola has some MAOI Inhibitory activity & elevates SerotoninI doubt you would die from this combination, but I also doubt it would be safe
Serotonin Syndrome is quite easy to induce
At least thats what I've found
Even mild Serotonin Syndrome is unpleasant & uncomfortable
You could try low dose Rhodiola with Nardil
Just think you might be playing with fire

Or maybe I'm just being over cautious
Don't see why you shouldn't take a low dose of Rhodiola & see how you feel
If its ok then gradually increase the dose
