I never took tramadol, so I can't comment on it personally. Significant weight loss has been reported, though.

What has been your experience with tramadol so far? How much are you taking?

I'm taking between 225 and 450 mg per day and Efexor 75 xr

While this combo might be working out for you, that's a very high dose of Tramadol to take while also on an NRI or SRI. I'd say be awfully cautious--you're risking seizures and serotonin syndrome.

I take up to 100mg of Tramadol with Lexapro. I have taken higher doses but didn't notice a significant difference in my mood.

Thanks for your advice. I'll cut it to one 225mg per day. Did u notice any weight loss with Trama?

No problem. If you're no longer on an AD, you can safely take more than 225mg of Tramadol, though I really wouldn't go higher, anyway. Tramadol becomes problematic at high doses and when used with ADs, which is why it's best to keep the dose low.

I can't say I notice weight loss with Tramadol, but it could be tempering weight gain from my other psych meds.
