Yesterday I didnt wake up with the feeling of dread in ht epit of my stomach, and was much calmer and less panicy throughout the day.
This morning was the same, and I havent had any urge to take my middle of the day Xanax early (for the last few weeks I have been taking 4 pills a day, sneaking an extra one in mid morning)
I've been on 60mg/day for a week, and 90mg/day for 1 day (8 days total) so presumably things will get even better over the next 1-2 weeks
This is very encouraging!
First thing I'm doing is cutting the Xanax back to 3 a day as of today, then we'll see

That's great!
I'm glad that you are heading in the right direction. I hope things continue to improve.

Please be careful. The effects of Nardil can increase exponentially with each dosage increase. That Nardil inhibits its own metabolism might be contributory to this phenomenon. You may get hit with some heavy-duty hypotension, urinary retention, or brain-fog rather suddenly after 3 - 5 days have passed. Hopefully, edema will not emerge. I know it is exciting for you to experience relief, but more is not always better. Let's see what happens. One way or another, I think you will be able to make Nardil work for you.
Have you ever known someone who has combined Nardil and clonazepam?

I'm folowing the dose suggested in an edition of the Medical Journal of Australia (target dose for painc disorder or phobic disorders 90mg/day or 1mg/kg/day)
If I start getting any nasty side effects, I'll drop back to 60mg/day.
After 4 weeks or so at 90mg/day I will drop back to 60/day, i just want to give the pills a chance to excert their maximum effect.
I'm watching my diet, and the restrictions in the newer diets arnt too onerous (I've never been too fond of green banannas stewed in their skins served with fava bean pods)
SLS - dont wory, if 60mg seems a more suitable dose than 90mg, I'll be back in a flash!

I know its early days, so I'm trying not to build any castles in the sky, but I cant help thinking "I wish somebody had given me this 20 years ago" instead of a script for 50 Valium and a lecture telling me to pull my self together

My concern is not the chosen target dosage, but how you are getting there. There is that pesky titration thing, you know. If you do experience the onset of intolerable side effects, why not cut back to 60 mg/day for a few days and resume your titration at 75mg/day if necessary.

With depression, some people don't see robust results from Nardil for a few months. I don't know about anxiety.
Are you prone to polar, black or white thinking? I sometimes get that way with drug dosing. I don't know why you would exclude 75 mg/day from consideration as an optimal dosage.
I'll be praying and crossing my fingers for you.

I guess 75 might be optimum, actualy, I think 60 will be enough (I got my response after a week at 60 and one day at 90)
I'm going to go to 90because of the MJA article, and after holding my dose there to get maximum response, I'll drop it back stepwise to whatever my maintenance dose is. In the past I have responded pretty quickly to any drug that has helped me, and it seems that this time is no exception.
I don't have any preconceived ideas about what my maint dose will be, I'll just start slowly dropping back from 90mg aday till I find the minimum that keeps me where I need to be. Given the price the manufacturers charge for Nardil, I hope its lower rather than higher

Watch out because usually the side effects will hit you all at once. And 90 mg is a sh*t load to be on that quickly. Whatever dose I've ever been on it always feels good for the first 2 weeks and then it's like, oh my god, side effects...unless I'm on 45 mg or less.
