Phil did you know that metformin now is recognized also for ability to decrease colon and I think it was prostate cancer? It came in a newsletter I mistakenly deleted. Google it. Also what kind of back pain do you have? And what's the weight loss now? Phillipa

Thats good news Phil. Now...can you name two psych meds that exceeded your expectations, which you would call winners?

Remember Pisa Syndrome(tardive dystonia) hurt like heck? Benztropine killed it.

Amitriptyline, stims and benzo's because they work as advertised.
Lexapro
Lithium
Lamictal

I would have to go back 30 years for others.

Benztropine is an anticholinergic used to treat Parkinsonism(think I spelled that right) and movement side effects due to antipsychotics(Tardive Dystonia.) Sounds like fun, eh?
Weird how a pill can make your body twist and how badly it can hurt.

I agree benzos because they do what they're supposed to do. Lexapro and Lamictal have helped me. I have no experience with lithium, do you like it because it works, or because you get low side effects, or both?

I don't know but if you do any intricate work with your hands or you like those skinny ankles. You're in a bad neighbor. Seriously I have no big issue with it.
