I have been on Nardil 30mg bd for a week now, according to an article in The Medical Journal of Australia, the target dose for Phenelzine in panic disorderis 1mg/kg/day, with a usual maximum of 90mg.
Given that I weigh 105kg and am desperate for some relief, I think I'm gonna push it to 30mg tid from tomorrow
Does this sound reasonable?

> Does this sound reasonable?Just know that there is a latency of 3 - 5 few days between when you raise the dosage of Nardil and the appearance of side effects. Be careful. Nardil can lull you into a false sense of security with dosage escalation. I think it is a great idea to target 90 mg/day. Just titrate sensibly. It is better to avoid hypotension and urinary retension than to treat them once they are triggered.
When I take Nardil, I divide it into three doses each day.

Yeah, when i increase, it'll be to 30mg three times a day, hopefully hold it there until i have gotten a decent response, then maybe deop back to a lower dose.
I havent had any other than minor side effects thus far (one very sleepless night, and just feeling a bit "not quite normal")
I'm thinking I might ask the doc (again) about changing from Xanax 1mg tds to clonazepam 1mg tds in the hope of getting a bit more relief - hopefully I can convince him!

Quietipine 50mg nocte prn sleep
Feeling incredibly anxious atm, I hope the Nardil starts doig somthing soon!
