I don't know. Since so few people posting maybe this is why? Have you checked other message boards? How expensive is it? Does it work for you? Phillipa

I always figured that was why. But There is a patient assistance program from the manufacturer and you can get it for free. It doesn't disclose the income requirements but a lot of these the threshold is higher than you would think, and it says you can even have insurance and still apply. I found this info on needymeds.org
