Hi Joe,

I did about six months of Viibryd and never got much stimulation from it. It seemed to keep me fairly even emotionally but at such a low level that after a few months of it I was ready to try something else again (after already having done several ssri/snri/other things). I did have weight gain from it that gradually started coming off after I stopped taking it, but I'm also mostly sedentary so that may not be as much of an issue for someone who is more active.

I was very skeptical when I was on it about the "one dose fits all" suggestion of the 40mg daily for everyone, and have read elsewhere that some people do better at lower doses. If you're getting a good result from a lower dose I would definitely make a note of that for yourself because you may need less than the 40 mg.

Best of luck,
Cat

At this point I think the list of what I haven't tried is shorter. ;)

Wellbutrin, Effexor, Abilify, Lexapro, Zoloft, Gabapentin (I know you're asking about ADs, but gabapentin really helped with my anxiety and that was how I ended up on lyrica when the manufacturer stopped making the generic I was on), Cymbalta, Pristiq, Trazodone, Serzone.

I don't seem to have much luck with the ssri's/snri's. They just don't do a whole lot for me. There are probably a few I forgot, too. That was one reason my shrink decided to skip the whole TCA route and go for Parnate instead, because of my poor track record with anything serotonin/norepinephrine related.
