How has Abilify helped with anyone's OCD?

Not mine, but I bet it would. In my experience atypical antipsychotic work extremely well and MUCH better than any SSRI for my EXTREME OCD.

hI pHILLIPA!

For me it just really, really blunts it, making it almost impossible to get stuck in an OCD loop. Before Antipsychotics my OCD was reaching the level of a psychotic illness it was that extreme....but with the atypicals, I can have much much much more room to live and OCD disturbs me around 75% less of the time....

Cheers!

The more Zoloft I took the less compulsive spending and hobbymaking I would do but eventually I lost interest in most of my activities.

Have you considered adding Memantine?

Or high dose Magnesium Citrate?

I think you should google up on these with ocd!

I cant remember how they work against ocd from the top of my head, but i remember people saying its really good and have seen some dramatic recoverys with Memantine.

Id definitely consider high dose Mg Citrate if you can afford. You could buy it in bulk.

Sincerely,

Julian

Is abilify weight gain dose dependant?

I take Geodon and Melperone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melperone) In the evening.

I am concerned about having too much Geodon in my blood during the day because of QT-Inteval issues and exercise.

Any suggestions?

I don't think so. I can't be sure, but for me 10 mg/day is the same as 20 mg/day. Other people gain weight at 2.5 mg/day.

You could look into switching from Geodon to Latuda (lurasidone). Like Geodon, Latuda is not supposed to produce weight gain.
