Has anyone had any experience with athymhormia? Are there any drugs that may help with this?

Never heard of athymhormia. A web search informed me that it's a disorder of motivation. Is that right? IMO, SNRI drugs like Cymbalta and Effexor and the stimulants methylphenidate (Ritalin), Dexedrine and Adderall would help to restore motivation.

I have tried all the drugs you mentioned plus about another dozen or so including maois and 15 ect treatments. At first it was just all depression then started on neourtin which really helped the depression. but i have a total lack of motavation, another word for it is Anhedonia. My docs seem to be out of ideas so i seem to be on my own. Depression isnt bad at all, just dont care if i live oe die and dont really have the guts or desire to kill myself. thanks for the input.

How about vigorous exercise?
Have you tried ropinirole (Requip in USA) or pramipexole (Mirapex in USA / Sifrol in Europe)? Trivastal (Europe, made by Servier)?
How about agomelatine (Valdoxan)?Nicotine patches? They've been used experimentally with success at least in the short term in never-smokers.

Neurofeedback might help. The prefrontal cortex, especially the left side, is responsible for motivation, and neurofeedback can make the prefrontal cortex more active.
