Hey guys in the past when social anxiety was in remmission 5htp was alwayd the deal sealer for me the icing on the cake. When i was on nardil the first time the nardil did most of the work but the 5htp sealed the deal so to speak. Now i am on lithium as well as nardil and am thinking about using 5htp again. My question is how real is the possibility of seratonin syndrome combined with lithium. Ive used quite high doses of 5htp with nardil and had no problem wat bout with lithium and nardil? Also any othet thing i should be concerned about?

I used 5-HTP with Nardil but I made 100mg the highest dose i dare go. YES there really is a chance of SS. If your gonna do it just start slow and work up steadily.
It may be alot safer to use L-Tryptophan. Branded as Optimax it turns into serotonin in the body, its one step away from 5-HTP. But it makes many more other tryptamines besides, like DMT for example and Melatonin too. Your body can make niacin from it too.

I wouldn't worry about SS developing as a result of taking Nardil and Lithium together. I take an AD and a stimulant with Lithium and have never had SS.
