i gained some more weight. i'm up to 175lbs now. no clothes fit me and my mood went down last week. i think its time for me to get off zyprexa. i've been pretty stable till about last wed when my mood started shifting down.
i stopped it last night. need to give myself a couple days off it to see how things are. but i added 2mg perphenazine for the time being.
it seems my fast ride is over and i've slowed to a stop.and here's the 'Good' news (Sarcasm) i had an eye appt friday and first doc said that i'm getting old(er) and my eyes are starting to loose their accuracy (thanks doc) and for a bonus he told me that i have hardening of the arteries and i need to start taking baby asprin asap cuz i dont want a stroke and to make appt with GP.
nice.... i'm 39.

B2chica what a shame a med that works well for you has the added bonuse (sarcasm also) of weight gain. Can you just stop zyprexa? I don't know haven't been on it. But guessing that upping the perph. will offset the zyprexa? As for your eyes average age for reading glasses is 40. I managed to not need them til 44. The eye exam in some ways is a better barometer to ones health than a physical. So many changes can be seen in the eyes. It's really a good thing you got the eye exam as it alerted you to potential medical problems. So right now you are feeling stable? Phillipa

no. since last thurs. been feeling blue. down, more tired. figure the down to my up is here. but that lasted a long time and was the worst i remember in Long time. i dont want the depression to be equally bad. i dont know that i can handle it with everything else going on.

40 is the age for losing reading vision. I never believed it until it happened to me right on the dot of 40. You're more or less on schedule.
