good ol usa. whoever i saw on a message board might have been from another country but im awful interested in this stuff, i found out a lil more about it they did a double blind study on it and its superior to haldol as far as transient esps (not with haldol but with zuclopenthixol) and its better for anxious depression. this would help me a lot i pace around a lot and am irritable, wanna give my doctor plenty of time to research it before i see im. tks for the feedback.

I kniw its used in the UK and europe, and yes, it is generaly better tolorated than haloperidol (good old vitamin h as a psych nurse friend calls it)

You could also try Risperdal Concerta, the depot form of risperidone

tks jono, vitamin h haha thats how they use it in hospitals ;)
risperdal gave me priapism, zyprexa made me a balloon, prolixin makes me suicidal and haldol just plain sucks in general.
sooo... anyone know if zuclopenthixol is avail. in the usa?

No, it isnt avaliable generaly in the US - however, if you could get your doctor to write a prescription, you might be able to obtain it from Masters Marketing in the UK

There are similar drugs avaliable in the US, such as Chlorprothixene (Cloxan, Taractan, Truxal)and Thiothixene (Navane) but I think these only come as pills to be taken each day
