My doc reduced perphenazine to one half. Its been 3 weeks now at 8mg x2. Felt great for the first couple of weeks. But yesterday and a couple of days before that, I've been feeling bad in the morning. Slow thinking, and just not with it. I had been taking the first pill in morning and second one 6 hours later and zyprexa before bed. That slow thinking would go away 3 hours after the first dose. And stay gone till next morning. So I thought I needed more perphenazine a third dose. But instead I switched the zyprexa and 2nd perphenazine dosing time. Woke up this morning with out the cognative problems. Thinking more clear. So will see if this fixes the problem.
Also the weird thing is the zyprexa(gen) seems to have worked better today. For some reason, the olanzapine works better some days and I can't figure out why. Its been like that for years now. Some times I wonder if its realy doing any thing. Others its working great and some times mildly.
One thing is sure since the decrease of perphenazine I've been sleeping a lot less! For a while there I could have nights of more than 12 hours, and if I didn't sleep long enough I would be tired for a good part of the morning.
10mg olanzapine
8mg x2 perphenazine
200mg bupropion sr
150mg sertraline
1mg cogentin(gen)

The other thing is since the decrease of perphenazine, I can relate to people better. Or so it seems?

That sounds good. Less sedation maybe? So are you keeping the rest of the meds? You have done wonderfully with your meds. Working and all that is great. Phillipa

I read that if you overdo it with antipsychotics (new or old), you can become socially withdrawn and more apathetic. Maybe you were over-tranquilized and now you're at more of a sweet spot?
Could also be sedation.
