I don't know.Minocycline does not seem to affect dopamine receptors directly. It kinda sorta acts like glycine or GABA, but coming from the opposite direction. Perhaps minocycline will demonstrate utility as an adjunct to neuroleptics. It is being studied as monotherapy, though, for both positive and negative symptoms. I would think that it would be effective for negative symptoms. I am less sure about positive symptoms.
How did you come to be interested in minocycline?

I would try several atypical and typical antipsychotics before trying minocycline, or, try adding minocycline onto an existing antipsychotic as a booster.
What have you tried upuntil now, and what has given atleast partial relief?

I like this idea.
Jeroen, you might still be partially responsive to Seroquel. I think you should consider taking it while trying other drugs like minocycline to augment it. I hope that you are not still taking Abilify. With you, I suspect it nullifies the therapeutic effects of Seroquel. I have seen this occur in real life as has my doctor. This doesn't happen with everyone, though.
