Well, I feel Im on the final phase of my long recovery from the major breakdown I experienced in 2007. Im down to one med.,Im back to work, and believe it or not, what Im most thrilled about,I was able to do 20 pushups this morning!! Right before I went into my worst depression,I was doing 20 pushups a day,and I was so proud of that.I ended up in a bed barely able to walk, not eating, well you all know what you go through...hell...its work to get better, but worth it.

gadchick,
I'm really glad to hear that you're making meaningful progress in recovering from your major breakdown. I too would be proud of doing those 20 pushups each morning, and I think that the pushups can serve as a good marker for the progress that you've made. Best of luck with continued progress in your recovery.

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I do know I could have a relapse, however,I am going to enjoy what I have now. The pushups have always been a motivation in my head. The number 20 served as my goal to get completely back to me. Yes, Beckett,I did change that filter! And now my son has that car up at the university. I want everyone to know its not just meds to get better, though they helped me alot. There is so much more out there that can help you get well. Even if its just doing a pushup or 2 or 20 everyday!
