Could you switch to a different antidepressant, such as an SSRI or mirtazapine?

According to your doctors, how long would you have to wait to try another antidepressant? It might help to use another drug as a "bridge" between treatments. I would consider using olanzapine (Zyprexa) temporarily during the waiting period and until the new drugs exert their therapeutic effects. Otherwise, you might feel terrible for weeks or months. If you responded to moclobemide, you might respond even better to Nardil. However, I would probably look at other untried treatments first. What have you tried so far?
Moclobemide is reversible, but it still relatively "sticky". I don't know how much time is necessary to wait. It might be only a few days.
Good luck.
