MD's are handing out these meds like candy to children. They should be prescribed only by a Psychiatrist. A kid should be allowed to be a Kid, not programmed and have the life zapped out of them. There is time for that when you are old. Seroquel, Prozac, Zoloft, etc,, are like the Roach Motel,, You check in,, but you cant check out.

Congrats for wanting to wean off that stuff.

I would think that you would wean off it by splitting them with a pill splitter and start. say if you are taking one, cut it in half, then cut a half in half and take 3/4 of a pill for 3-4 weeks. Then take half and repeat the process until you are free from it. You might want to go in smaller increments, especially at the end until you are down to a sliver. If you want off it, I hope you persevere.
