Hello,
I was wondering, for those who get tachycardic (a fast heart rate) on a stim, what do you take, if anything, to control it?
Thanks,
Kat

one good med: Clonodine... .1mg or .2mg but it does cause blood pressure to drop significantly at doses about .3mg
propranolol is a good choice but it would cancel the norephineprine effect from the stimulant, it blocks NE.ask your doctor seriously about clonodine...it good for anixety at times.

Try 100m aspirin + at least 2g high potency fish oil first.
This works for me with a tricyclic antidepressant (notorious for tachycardia). Resting heart rate is still 20bpm higher than baseline, but it's bearable. Would otherwise be around 60bpm higher than baseline.
