Stimulants with sedatives for social anxiety

hey guys.....im doing fine thanks for askin...anyways you know i've been doing some research on older discontinued medications from the 1950's-60's like dexamyl desbutol, reading most of the advertisements they clearly put in it it helps with social inhibition or staying by yourself....

you know pretty much today we don't see barbiturates being used only in some special cases...so I don't think mixing d-amphetamine with them is relevant today but it got me thinking that ativan or xanax with dexedrine would really help that flat feeling you feel when you don't want to talk to people. See if you think about it...d-amphetamine increases dopamine and increases motor systems including communication but the only thing is that i can cause anxiety or sometimes a overfocused state and taken with like lorazpeam....about 6 years ago I took ativan 2mg with 40mg adderall xr and it pretty much losened me up but not to a point where there was depression caused by the sedation.

The amphetamine and benzo can have a synergry effect in thinking...its like a relaxed stimulation....it eases up the frozen state stimulants can produce, over focused, obessed in thinking. Alcohol with amphetamine is not at all a good combo, already tried it...it causes a really bad mood effect...but but it could be diffrent for some people...
But really I think its a really good idea for some parts of social anxiety. Hope this is documented.

thank you for your time...

rj

i'm on adderall 20mg TID and i take xanax.
i think it works well together.
i also take gabapentin for anxiety through the day and mixes nice.
i agree that it works on totally different receptors that do form a nice effect.
i have energy but not hyper, and relaxed and able to think more clearly without the stress induced aphasia i always get with high anxiety.
