i have been rreading more about "Norepinephrine Dopamine Release Disinhibitors"
so far i have come across 5t2a and 5ht2c antagonists that work very well for me... which is why cyproheptadine works so well. then there are meds like buspar that are 5ht1a agonists which dont work well at all!!!
but now i'm stuck. i'm trying to research more meds that work to "disinhibit" dopamine release, rather than to stimulate the release of it like adderall or ritalin.
anyone else come ever come across some info on this?

Ritanserin. Unfortunately, you would have to be a lab rat to get your paws on some.
Thanks for posting the concept of disinhibition. I'll keep that in mind.

disinhibition ... that would be like kinda releaxing the synpases and letting the dopamine flow and not be held back due to tension....alcohol can do that at low doses...it eases you up to do things. Still I don't think its considered a "disinhibitor". That's why I think benzos can be stimulating too at times because they relieve the body of mental tension to just ease up, and function normally.
I really don't know if the medical field will be motivated to study this subject....
anyways, nuerontin can have this effect too...

other possible disinhibitors would be
muscarinic m1 antagonists
5-hh2a/c antagonists
histamine h1 receptor antagonsits (norepinephrine release)
adenosine antagonists
