im gonna ask my doctor about this....its old, but its still used alot in addiction clinics for anxiety and alcohol withdrawl. It may work...it may not...with my doctor because she is really a big arrogant addiction obessed doctor.
Has anyone taken Librium before? any thoughts or imputs about it? anything .... that would be great.

My Father did as was new at the time. It was then used for nerves. I tried it after valium but it didn't work as well for me as the valium. Not for detox just nerves. I didn't know they were still using librium for detox? Phillipa

yea they still do....but I think its been replaced by Klonopin and Ativan. Once and a while ill read a case of them using the outdated phenobarbital....
librium actually is documented to be the best for alcohol withdrawl and detox...but you know these doctors today....who knows what their minds will try to intellectulize and use the most inapporiate drugs for a condition that vitally needs a benzo or some kinda of sedative...and all they do is give trazadone s hit. Ugh!! i hate it!
