Do you sweat all the time, or only when it's warm? I also sweat excessively, when it's warm, esp. when going to sleep (I'm on 90mg of nardil), but I take seroquel as well, and I think most of the atypical antipsychotics affect temperature regulation. I haven't found anything to help it, though...
Does nardil make you thirsty? 30-45 min. after taking it (3X a day) I get extremely thirsty (even when I don't sweat).

I mainly notice the sweat when it gets warmer, like over 75F. ANY activity causes me to perspire like crazy and it takes a long time to stop.
I don't get thirsty after taking my dose. I take it all at once in the morning (45mg).

Has anyone tried Terazosin (Hytrin)?

>there's anticholinergics to dry you up. If those don't work, there's botox. No, seriously, I use to get botox shots for my underarms for drug-induced sweating. These days,it's even FDA approved for axillary (underarm) hyperhydrosis.
google hyperhydrosis.
for underarm sweating. you'll want to try a prescriptio to Drysol firet. My dermatologist told me to use it and then apply gold bond body powder to my underarms. It works well, but these days, I just use good ol' Tom's of Maine. I apply it to my underarms. and then apply it to all of the part of my shirt that touches my underarm. It has hops in it that inhibit odor from fermenting. I wouldn't try this with regular deodorant, or it would wreak. Tom's has an unscented version.

Thanks, I have tried some of the underarm things and they help but I sweat ALL OVER. I'm really looking for some feedback on the anticholinergics that prevent sweating in the first place.
