I've posted about this before but was never realy sure. I belive that zyprexa becomes weak and much less effective within a few months. I have some zyprexa which I purchased in May 2011. I also have some zyprexa (generic) which I purchased in mid Nov 2011. I took it for a month and it worked realy well. So I went back to the May zyprexa and took it for 2 weeks. I noticed that I was not doing as well. So back on Nov zyprexa for a week or two and wow what a difference with in a week. So much stronger that I started to think I don't need the perphenazine anymore. Because the zyprexa was working like it did before the abilify. Thats when I started taking older zyprexa. Also in the past every time I got a new batch of zyprexa, I would take some to make sure it was real. And always found it to work real good, but a few months later, it didn't.
So no more stockpiling zyprexa. Will see if I can get rid of perphenazine. Too tired lately.
