the 1st time i saw a psychiatrist i was started on celexa. my friend was started on celexa after his 1st visit and now my dad has been put on it after his 1st visit. is it really thought to be one of the best SSRI's?

It is one of the cheapest, in the pd black book. LEXAPRO is a new vertion , but more money, the rest of ssri,s are obout the same as celexa

I found celexa extremly sedating did a one month trial for the pdoc when new and he took me off it and tried the luvox high dose again it never worked like the first time felt wonderful at 250mg Drug company wanted l0 for a trial so he took away what was working and mess it up. First ad for me was paxil l0mg took for 2 years with low dose xanax. Celexa is the now least expensive. If docs tried SSRI's themselves they would see they are all different. Phillipa
