Hi PB,
the last time I took Provigil, for the first few weeks it was wonderful. I had zest, energy, I could focus at work, I wanted to do things. Gallingly its life-changing effects began to wane to the point that 8 weeks later I stopped taking it. Within that period I tried 200mg and split-dosing to no avail.Has anyone had any success in preventing such poop-out? e.g. Taking alternate days or taking a small (e.g. 50mg) dose for a few days, or taking a "med break" from it for a few days?
Thanks,
Pedr

actually it's the weekends that I struggle the most with physical energy, motivation and energy. When I'm at work, I just sit at my desk but at home I have a baby son - very different!

I recall reading about someone experimenting with memantine to reduce stimulant tolerance buildup. Dunno if it helps or not.
