Just wondering if prozac and focalin would be similar to taking prozac with nortiptyline or prozac and welbutrin...? I have seen these combinations recommended in the past (for me) by those that I correspond more frequently with here. Haven't had the opportunity to try the nortriptyline yet and the welbutrin combination was years ago when I was drinking so not sure if I had a "true trial period" back then. What do you all think? Would focalin and prozac be similar to the combination of either welbutrin and prozac or nortriptyine and prozac?
Thanks for the input! FM

Prozac plus nortriptyline can be a bad idea, as prozac inhibits the metabolism of nortriptyline, and can lead to dangerously high blood levels.
Zoloft plus nortriptyline however is safe and effective.
The Combination of Prozac and Welbutrin is safe and might well give you the effect you're looking for.

It would be similar to taking Prozac with Wellbutrin, as both drugs, Focalin and Wellbutrin are NDRIs (norepinephrine dopamine reuptake inhibitors)
