The last time I took more than my prescribed amount was the day my mom was having brain surgery to remove a malignant tumor. It seemed to help (I was RXed 90mg and believe I took 120) and not cause any additional anxiety....
Anyone done this? I am trying to optimize my state of mind for job interviews, I woke up shaking... had to take 1mg Xanax this morning and will have to re-dose before the interview.
Might take an extra 15-30mg Nardil, might not. I'll let you guys know what happened but was curious about this.
thx,
-z

The only thing this might do is make you feel somewhat more foggy-headed. Nardil doesn't work like that. I advise against this.
If you feel that you need a dose increase, talk to your prescribing physician.

I think you'd be better served by keeping your nardil constant, and taking a benzo (Valium, Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin) as needed for bad days.
Nardil is slow acting, taking an extra pill on a bad day is unlikely to have any other than a placebo effect.

z, The previous two posters are correct in how Nardil works and doesn't work. Sometimes a beta-blocker can be used for situational anxiety. But I just use a little more benzo. Not enough to make me tired.
Be well my friend,
