Hi,
Please help me with my question.
THIS IS MY DIAGNOSIS:
PRIMARY:
PTSD
SECONDARY:
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Panic Attack Disorder
Severe insomnia
Recurrent Major Depression
Splitting Headaches
CURRENT PRESCRIPTION MEDS:
Klonopin: morning: .25, afternoon: .5, evening .5. TOTAL 1.25
Wellbutrin SR: 12.5 daily (yes, I have to split up the SR, more gives me too much anxiety)
Ambien as needed (¼)OVER THE COUNTER:
Benadryl 12.5
Dramamine 25 mg
Valerian 450 blend at night, morning 125, afternoon 225
Melatonin 3mg
Tryphtophan as needed (125 mg)
Aleve: every other day for muscle tension
Advil for anxiety, depression, headaches
CAN YOU ADVISE/RECOMMEND reductions additions?Thanks,

instead of your first two over the counter you can try hydoxizine (aterax), not sure of the spelling, it's and anti histamine used for anxiety and sleep, I take very high doses at night with a melitonin. When I feal a tough day coming I take a little in daytime. I don't get sleepy but that is unusual. I find it helpful.

ITs not a fun med to take but you may want to investigate topamax.

I'd suggest adding an SSRI, for example Zoloft 50mg each morning OR mirtazapine (Remeron) 30mg at night to help with the depression and anxiety.

wellbutrin makes my anxiety skyrocket. Its a wonder you can take it at all.
I found that desipramine helped with the fatigue, pain and depression so long as I kept the dose low so it didnt make me anxious.
