I'm weak, and moving around is an effort.
Funny that I'm interested in doing things, but laying in bed would be so much easier.
I took 100mgs the last 2 days instead of 50mgs, and I just feel sedated.
I wanted to dampen down anxiety, but this is ridiculous. You know, I have heard that seroquel has become a drug of abuse in prisons. I suppose I could see why now. If I had to stay in one room all day, not working, preferably without ruminating all day, then I suppose it might be a desirable thing.

Have you tried mood stabilizers? Or other AAPs that arent so sedating? Maybe even raising the dose.
At lower doses seroquel is pretty much all antihistamine. You could take a pile of benadryl with the same results.

I used to work partime in a jail and the least expensive meds were used. Isn't seroquel expensive? As for antihistamine didn't know that about the benydryl as the one time I took it dried me out and I looked like a prune. Phillipa

Some jails don't even allow seroquel anymore. I guess they're afraid people might escape their harsh reality.
Anyway, I think if you respond to seroquel for anxiety, maybe hydroxyzine? Its relatively cheap and doesn't usually cause major problems. Just a thought.

I already take lamictal, and I thought about trying another AAP. I tried abilify a long time ago, not good for me. I suppose this was my experiment with raising the seroquel dose. At the moment I think I'll try running.
My head feels dull and my body is achey.
Thanks for responding. Wish me luck.

I think you might've suggested that before. It sounds like a reasonable idea.
Right now I am thinking that I don't want to take anything that is, more than anything else, going to make me sleep. I'll try some exercise, maybe it'll help??
Thanks CE

Hey SG,
Running is wonderful once getting past the start up ughs.
It was my drug for many years.
Just remember to stretch afterwards. (I say this because I wish I had.)
The side-effect profile is quite tolerable.
