Before you start taking something, make sure your drug plan will cover it.
I don't want anyone to fall into the trap I'm having to deal with.
In the first 90 days (I think by law) of being in a given plan they will cover even non-formulary drugs. This is how I got away with an AndroGel fill. I am now having to wait until October 1st to get a fill of a similar product, and it's VERY nasty waiting.
I never wanted to "play" with my sex hormones, but now I've switched to a plan that covers Testim; and other things I was thinking about taking (Ambien CR). But it won't take effect until 10/1.
It hasn't been cool waking up to depression and dealing with it when it so recently disappeared.
Argh. I am now facing the getting out of bed trouble... it seems depressed, it's unpredictable whether I get that or the opposite where I'm up at 4:30!
Wish me luck. It's only another 11 days.
