Emsam decrease: not feeling so good?

Posted by floatingbridge on September 6, 2011, at 16:06:44

It's been four days at 6mg from 9mg Emsam. I'm not sure why, but suspect doc's decision is based on increased insomnia and anxiety ( a good-enough guess).

Is it possible to feel this decrease already? I feel, in a nutshell, crummy.

I have also titrated up 25mg lamictal for 6 days, then have discontinued that as well for three days.

I wish I knew where my treatment was going.

Actually, if I had one wish, scratch the above. I wish I didn't feel crummy.

Scratch that. I wish I felt better.

Scratch that. Wish I never had cause nor desire to take anything other than aspirin.

I'm sorry, fb. I can't think of anything that would make you feel better. Can you go back on stimulants? I know the Dexedrine wasn't the best thing ever, but maybe a lower dose of an amphetamine or Ritalin, perhaps even Provigil, would be good for you.

:-) Feel better soon.

FB didn't know you decreased dose of Emsam? Maybe the Emsam was doing more than you knew? By feeling crummy what do you mean? Did you sleep last night? Love Phillipa
