For jono: xanax sedation and working a job

Posted by Zonked on September 3, 2011, at 17:45:54

Hi, if I remember correctly, you're either working or close to it. Does Xanax make you tired and if so how do you get through the workday? Do you drink any caffeine? I find it more helpful for anxiety than any other drug, but I have to drink caffeine to stay awake. It's like choose one: anxiety relief, or be alert but more anxious.

Yeah, I work full times as a warehouse manager (not a whorehouse manager haha)

The Xanax doesnt make me tired, just calm..... I think it might have slowed me down for the forst few days, but not more than that.

I have a coffee when i get up in the morning, ane mid morning and one mid afternoon, mainly out of habit.

i think it is the drugs that have enabled me to get back to work to be honest, befre i started Xanax I hadnt worked in months, was a complete write off

Let me add when first took xanax it also enabled me to work and I wasn't tired. Didn't drink caffeine. Had severe panic at time due to new diganosis of thyroid disease so thyroid was fluctuating. Hope that also helps. Phillipa
