I am currently taking Zoloft 50 mg and Fluanxol 0.5 mg per day.
I do not find these medicines sedating though I find I need two to three hours more sleep a day since I began using these medicines.
I want to try taking only 25 mg per day of Zoloft to see if this improves my sleep requirements.
I read that people who have affective disorders are more likely to get tardive dyskinesia from using antipsychotic medicines.
This is one of the reasons I think it is a good idea to combine the Fluanxol with Zoloft.
Do you think I would be more likely to get tardive dyskinesia if I reduce the dose of Zoloft?

If anything, adding an antidepressant to a neuroleptic increases the odds of TD. I would think a lower dose of the zoloft would=a lower TD risk, but I'm not certain.
I imagine such a low-dose of flunpentixol carries a minimal TD risk. Do you have any EPS?

Since Thursday I have only been taking 25 mg (instead of 50 mg) per day of Zoloft.
On Friday and Saturday I felt irritable and angry.
Today I feel depressed.
Since Friday I haven't been feeling so tired in the evenings though.
This is the end of the thread.
