does anyone have any experience with buspirone causing drug tolerance.. or at least tolerance to side effects from it?

I never experienced any tolerance to buspirone while I took it. However, it was never extremely effective for me. Saying that I have noticed that my panic disorder has worsened since I came off the drug.

Think I'm gonna start up on it again. Doesn't get rid of my anxiety completely but it does seem to help a little.

did it have any side effects around the beginning of taking it that went away after taking it for a bit is what i mean? like, for me i noticed after my first dose a decrease in libido and am wondering if this effect of it could go away if i keep taking it.
i know for many people its actually good for their libido, not for mine though.

Hi,

I've been on buspirone for 18 years.
This is a very mild drug that has virtually no side effects.
Buspirone won't affect your libido in a negative way.

Best regards,
Peter Heuer

Wellbutrin XL 150 mg
Remeron 45 mg
Buspirone 40 mg
Flupentixol 1 mg

haha it's too late, it did affect my libido in a negative way. it also made me feel kinda blank minded and not want to talk to people as much. i'm just hoping that if i continue taking it, that these side effects will go away.

Poser, so you are pushing for a 'poop-out' effect (crudely stated--sorry)? (Am I at all understanding this?)

Has anyone else here done something like this?

yeah thats kinda what im looking for. i dont know if this sounds like a weird idea, but...
it's like with the mirapex making me feel better and then revrsing, im thinkin maybeeee the buspar could make me feel worse before making me feel better after i get past the side effects. but, honestly.. i took the buspar once 2 months ago and i still feel more in a daze from it. i know that sounds weird or like i might be making it up in my head.. im not tho. side effects just stick with me from most meds.

my idea is to maybe undo how it made me feel by taking it even more and maybe becoming tolerant to the side effects. i just dont want this plan to go wrong and simply make myself worse and not have the bad side effects go away.
