Hi there,
I am going to taper from 90mg of buspar to 60mg and wonder should I just drop to 60 or take it more slowly than that? Not sure what to expect since I have been on it so long. Thanks for your thoughts,
Joseph

> JosephHi,
I have been on Buspar for 18 years, so I know this drug well. You can go from 90 mg to 60 mg with no problem.

There wouldnt be any issue with changing from 90mg to 60mg overnight, but, if you want to be sure, go down to 75mg for a few days, then down to 60.

Thanks for your advise. Has anyone been at 90mg or any dose of buspar before and have experienced weight gain? I gained 30 pounds before upping my zoloft which took the weight off. I thought buspar was supposed to cause weight loss.
