ok here's the deal. I'm seeing a doctor who is very stubborn and she will not treat me for ADHD because she believes that I don't have ADHD. She screwed my life over and f*ck*d up with my meds and I'm stuck with her. She doesnt care if im miserable. That's her job to keep me miserable with these meds that she will not work on. I tell her im depressed and all she does is say "you look great, you don't look depressed why should I prescibe you something that's not needed?" See she does NOTHING. And I can't switch doctors because my mother likes her and won't get another doctor. And i get in trouble with my parents if I go see other doctors. They think im a drug addict and they won't treat me for my illness. There brainwashed into thinking everything is great until I try to change things like go to diffrent doctors. I get the keys taken away from me and I'm locked away in my house. I can't even keep a job because of my ADHD and really im so sick and tired of this doctor I want to tell her f*ck you, your not helping we need another doctor to replace you. But my mom won't do it!! she thinks this doctor is great and there just both keeping me miserable because they refuse to take action. I'm so angry about this there nothing I can do. Any suggestions??
My currents meds are
Prozac 60mg
Zypreza 20mg
Clonodine .1mg X 2 daily.I really would like someone to write a letter to my doctor!!

Clonidine can act as a potent depressogenic. I would avoid it if possible.

I am prohibited from posting here what IMHHHO could save your life, keep you from getting a life-ruining condition from the drugs that the doctor is prescribing to you, and from posting what has been revealed to me in relation to the foundation of Judaism that I think could help you in your request for suggestions here. I wish that I could, I really do. If you knew the historical record of the development of the use of psychotropic drugs, I think that it could go a long way in helping you and others.
I can't pretend that I {redacted by respondent} for it is plainly visible the suffereing here.
I do not know if even the directive to me by the owner of this site reaches so far to that you can not even email me for this information that I think could save your life, for I have posted a request to Mr. Hsiung here for him to clarify such and the request is outstanding.

Are you sure its your ADD that's preventing you from getting a job and not, say, the heavy medication cocktail you're on? 20mgs of Zyprexa is a GOOD BIT of antipsychotic for someone who doesn't even have schizophrenia. I'm just saying.
Now, this whole situation with your doc is very unfortunate. My advice would be to quit seeing her and just get your scripts from a family doctor, keeping in mind that a family doctor isn't going to put you on a stimulant or anything too crazy; they're probably only going to give you refills of what you're already taking, and even then they might want to cut it back a bit.
I have to say that at least this doc isn't prescribing everything she can. I mean, she has a point about not prescribing anything that's unnecessary, especially when you're already on a cocktail.

Matt I have ADHD, I'm on concerta and before that ritalin, I've been on stimulants for long long time. Resently I was put on wellbutrin for depression and found it helped all my AHDA sympoms. I then read about wellbutrin and it's chemically similar to stimulants and used off lable for ADHD. It would be reasonable request to be put on it. Don't like zyprexa!

I read all the messages and my mom is the one that controls my medical bills and many things. I don't want to scream out for help when it is not nesscearry or relevant. It's just the doctor won't...she doesnt believe I have ADD. And anything I tell her she doesnt listen to me. She gets angry alot with me, and I need to get angry wit her because she will not cooperate with any suggestion that's regarding ADD. She's an addiction specialist and will not prescibe anything that she thinks is not suitable for me. And frankly I need to tell her I need to see someone else because she does NOTHING when I tell her what kinda of misery I'm in. She just looks at me and says "well you look great".
I admit I do have a tendacy to manipulate doctors but I've came to a descion not to do it BUT the meds im on are not working at all and this lady is so freaking hard to deal with because she gets mad at me during the sessions. She quite has a temper and needs to see some counsuling of her own so she won't get mad all the time. She has villian like qualities to me, but that's just for me.
I've got to but please thank you for everyone for you support. I've got to deal with her on my own and TRY to see if my mother will get another doctor besides her. I'm very miserable and I wish I was not living at times but i'm not suicidal i'm just very pessimistic about my situations and circumstaces. Please do not let me rub off on you. My comments are my comments. Don't let them influece you. I want the best for everyone.
