I am currently taking the following
100 mg Pristiq
2 mg Valium twice daily
Vyvanse 30 mg
Ambien 10 mgWould a mood stabilizer help maintain this cocktail assuming that it works? (which it appears to be helping somewhat and only time will tell)
If yes,....which one?

You can always go with gabapentin, most say it dont do anything but i like it,its mild, augments well with others, and there is no lethal dose so its pretty safe.

I don't think it's going to prevent poop out, but if you want to take something that might be good for your brain and stabilize mood, you should try lithium, 300 mg would be a reasonable dose.

Hey. I'm sorry you're going through a rough patch. All I can think of would be 1-3mgs/Klonopin or lamictal. I'm not a doctor or anything, just some random suggestions.

FM,
Would a stabilizer prevent poop-out? I'm thinking that if your current switch doesn't stop your boat from rocking, it's not maybe poop-out protection needed, but stability itself.
How's this: look ahead to what stabilizer(s) make your short list? SLS has suggest trileptal to me but haven't tried it. Phillipa seems pretty med sensitive to me, so if she says no sides, I myself might ask my own doc for it :-)
Depekote worked for you once before you mentioned? Please tell us again what have you tried for stabilizers and your responses?
So far, you're alright on new meds? Out with klonipin (was it?) and Valium is good?
Keep us posted, please. We care.

(For 'poop-out', supplements and that sort might give you a subtle underlying base....?)

Seems like this current combination is working so may be sticking with it....I may ask doctor if adding a stabilizer could help prevent future instabilities? It just sucks when it all goes south again and if adding something to keep it working would be effective I would take anything!

Hey, let us know what your doc might suggest. Unless you're still asking....
