Hi I am new. I've been on Emsam for a few months now, just upping my dosage recently to the 9 mg/24 hr patch. I have a few questions and will post them separately. First is there a vitamin that is considered safe? I think I have been taking too many supplements and want to simplify to just one multivitamin.

I've been on Nardil for most of 12 years. Never had a problem with any Vitamins. But I do believe in supplements. People around me are sick all the time and I almost never even get a cold.
Suplements:
Muti: Centrum Silver - Costco generic
Vit C 500 mg - 1000mg if I feel a cold coming on
Vit D3 400 IU - Almost everybody is deficient in this - Especially in the
winter
Vit E 800 IU
Vit B6 100 mg - Nardil depletes B6 and can lead to peripheral neuropathy
CoQ-10 300 mg - Just a great antioxidant
Magnesium 400 mg
DHA 1200 mg - Omega3 - This is a no-brainer
EPA 1800 mg - Omega3 - another no-brainer
Be Well,
Jedi

Hi,
I'm on EMSAM also. I've been taking a multi-vitamin from a company called K-Pax. Pharmaceutical grade, and I think was originally developed for use in cancer and AIDS patients to help support the immune system. They offer a discount to people on Medicare. My father (also on EMSAM) takes K-Pax vitamins as well. What's interesting is that if I happen to forget to take it for a few days I really do feel the difference (low energy and stuff). Also, it's the only vitamin that doesn't make me nauseous if I take it on an empty stomach. Welcome to Babble and good luck!

Thanks for all the responses. I really appreciate it. I ended up researching the internet and bought Nature Made vitamins but may look into K-Pax next month. Can a doc write an RX for K-Pax vitamins or only in NY state?
