My condition hasn't been this bad since right after my son was born. I just fight with husband, am verry irritable with child, feel weepy (but not weeping), incredibly angry. Oh. And pain. The relationship between pain and emotions is very, very funky (not in a way that would please James Brown). Add an hair trigger, and it's zero to sixty on the inside. I feel like a real freak show.
I am praying my pdoc slaps some emsam on me tomorrow. This is hard to take.
FTW,

FB you see the doc tomorrow? Could the anticipation of another med and different class be causing extra stress which in turn causes extra pain and then the emotions come? Did he say emsam tomorrow? Love Phillipa

You really understand, don't you? Stress > pain > emotions > stress + shame.
Nothing will change tomorrow. I doubt it. That in itself is stressful and cause for negative emotion :(
When I wrote FTW, I didn't mean you. Or PB. Just 'the world'. I just feel miserable.

Phillipa, I feel alright today, like last week was like, 'just a bad week'. Sounds silly. My post sounds silly now. Sorry to be so dramatic.
I have no memory, though. Really shot. I tell husband that I'm so 'in the moment'-- that's why I'm so forgetful. He quips, well great. Now when can we
work on getting you to be present.I have dropped a lot of meds. My current lineup is:
Lyrica 75mg x 4
Dexedrine 60mg
Xanax .75-1.25mg
Norco 30mg
Flector patch, 2 all day
Voltaran gelI still need the norco. I think the Lyrica could be cranked up until there wasn't any memory left (Memento), and there would be a core pain untouched. That's at or around the injury site(s).
I dropped cymbalta, about a mg of xanax, lithium. Not that much, I guess. I
am actually, technically AD-less, right? But Lyrica is strong stuff--so I'm definitely medicated. I'd forgo my xanax, but don't want to risk withdrawal after long time use. Thanks for asking.

You really have a lot to deal with. I hope you are feeling well enough to stay tuned in to your kid. Be well and pain-free.
