would any1 be interested in proofreading somethin?

Posted by g_g_g_unit on February 5, 2011, at 4:11:57

So, I have an opportunity to see one of the (reputedly) best psychs in my area next week and have been trying to put together some notes - particularly on lifelong ADHD symptoms.

I often tend to blow it/miscommunicate sentiments in the moment which results in frustration and misdiagnoses, and I'm nearly at the end of my tether, so this appointment means a lot to me.

If anyone would be willing to help, I'd really appreciate it. E-mail is okay, though it might be easier to work through a chat program. Also, I'd prefer it if the person was familiar with ADHD. Babblemail me if you're interested it.

Thanks!

Sure - it's not very long, so hopefully shouldn't take up to much of your time, but I'd be happy to pay for a decent job.

I would gladly proof read your history and make it coherent. I do this every time I see the Dr. to explain of changes and my well (not so) being.
I am often stricken of people coming in without any notes whatsoever, and then the Dr. is left figuring out what to prescribe. And they usually go wrong unless you point out important information.

it went well, thank you. he said there was enough evidence to justify trialling Dexedrine. unfortunately, it's causing some weird side-effects at the moment
