I'm taking 35mgs Abilify for a little while (then back down to 30) and 20mgs Celexa. I feel...calmer, less paranoid, more at ease. I had to go out and about yesterday, and I noticed my social awkwardness (face turning red, that sort of thing) has already decreased significantly.
I want to thank those of you who encouraged me to give this combo a try and also try to give those who are struggling a little bit of hope: the meds aren't perfect,and they can't do everything, but you can probably get some significant symptom reduction with the right med(s).

I actually do like Celexa, at least this time around (took it years ago--wasn't very impressed then).
I think being on a higher dose of Abilify and taking the Celexa really calms me down w/o any noticeable side effects. Hopefully, this combination will keep on working and I won't need to re-work my medications anytime soon.

yeah, I take Abilify and Celexa. I was trying to do the monotherapy thing with just the Abilify, but...you know, stuff happened.
Anyway, I do feel better. I take loads of supplements, so I think (hope) they're helping me, too.
