Bleauberry, how are you doing?

About a month ago you posted that you were feeling a lot better after two weeks on a new supplement regiment. Are you still seeing benefits?

Well, I'm still drug free now 3 years, and I am a tad better than my usual baseline, but the initial 2 weeks of dramatic improvement I had experienced has diminished. My best guess is I have some Herxing and healing going on. Still better than I was though, so I'm thankful for that. I am of the understanding that deep healing takes a year to three years and is characterized by a bumpy ride of ups and downs. Later in the process the ups begin to outnumber the downs. I'm not there yet, as my ups are sporadic and outnumbered. But at least I am overall better than the baseline I've had for 15 years, including all the time on all the psych meds. That really sucked.

Thanks for asking. Hope you are having a smooth go of it.

Well it is good that it is helping somewhat. I know you think it is herxing, but I have had some similar response to some meds, where they kick in with a punch and then stop, remeron comes to mind. If they're helping I would stick with it. Someone recently described that approach as a shotgun approach where you know you are gonna hit something. In someways, it is more expensive, but it is a lot less frustrating then trialing each supplement individually, especially if there is some synergistic benefit, that might not be realized otherwise.

I hope you are right and notice some improvements with time.

Right now, I'm my typical baseline anhedonic self, not sure whether to try low dose prozac again, and maybe augment, or try nardil which has some history of working in my family biology.
